Description:
In this 6-week series, we welcome any forms of grief that are present for people. We will co-create space for an experiential group where participants can “drop in,” build community through the practice of sacred witness, and explore different ways of connecting with, honoring, and metabolizing grief.
We will rotate through working with different forms of ritual practices each week, such as embodied movement and vocal expression, bundle-making, inner sacred witness, somatic release of rage and fury, connecting to helping spirits, nurturing touch, and working with nature, beauty, and the elements. As this is a co-created space, we will adjust the flow to what forms of ritual and support the group is most interested in connecting with. Although the overall focus will be experiential and tending to our inner process, we will also explore the the intersection of culture and grief as part of building a new micro-culture together around how we approach grief.
