‘Lean In’ Series Description:

In this 6-week series, we welcome any forms of grief that are present. We will co-create space for an experiential group where participants can “drop in,” build community, and explore different ways of connecting with, honoring, and metabolizing grief.

Our flow will follow a ritual format, which includes opening and closing our circle with intention and weaving song and beauty throughout our time together. Each week, we will integrate a new element of ceremonial practice, such as working with nature, beauty, and creative expressions, sacred witness, embodied movement and vocal expression, somatic release of rage and fury, and connecting to ancestors and helping spirits. We will also explore the the intersection of culture and grief as part of building a new micro-culture together around how we approach and care for our sorrow.
